Last sunday (21/06/2026) marked 37 amazing years of The Befriending Scheme!
For over three decades, we've been creating friendships, reducing isolation, and building a more inclusive community where children, young people and adults with a learning disability and/or neurodiversity can thrive.
Every friendship, every conversation and every smile has been made possible by the incredible people who make up our community.
Thank you to our amazing members, staff, volunteers, supporters and partners. You make The Befriending Scheme what it is – an inclusive, connected and kind community.
Here's to celebrating everything we've achieved together, and to many more years of friendship, belonging and making a difference.
