Our Fortnightly Newsletter - Edition 7
Suffolk Charities Unite
We have had the exciting opportunity to join with a dozen local organisations, in a plea to call on local businesses to help vulnerable individuals and families across Suffolk, who lack technology and communication devices. The aim is to improve connections with friends or family and to enable these identified individuals or families to access much needed resources or vital services during this pandemic.
You can read the press release below from Suffolk Family Carers, published on 16th June 2020:

🌟Volunteers' Week: 1st - 8th June. 🌟
Volunteers’ week is an annual celebration of the contribution millions of people make across the UK through volunteering.
Volunteers play a HUGE part in all that we do at The Befriending Scheme and we really appreciate all the time
and support given to help our members.
A big, big thank you to every single person who has given their time, care, friendship, support, resources and talents, over the past year, so that we can continue delivering much needed services to vulnerable adults across Suffolk.
We couldn't do it without you!
Thank you!!!
With this in mind we wanted to share some quotes from some of our wonderful volunteers sharing why they love volunteering for us at our hub groups, the farm or as one to one befrienders.
